North Texas Healthcare Compliance Professional Association (NTHCPA) invites members and other interested health care compliance professionals to catch up on the latest requirements and best practices for helping their organizations manage I-9, VISA, and other immigration law rules and requirements by joining us as immigration lawyer Richard A. About Rick Gump

Rick Gump has significant experience working with health care and other organization to plan and manage immigration law requirements of recruiting and employing diverse workforces.  Throughout his career, Mr. Gump’s practice has focused on assisting clients with strategic planning business and personal visas for international personnel and immigration related compliance and risk assessment. Client work includes non-immigrant and immigrant visas related to health care and other professionals, technical personnel, investors, and persons of extraordinary ability, and due diligence in mergers and acquisitions.  Mr. Gump has been an active legal conference planning committee faculty member, speaker and published writer. He handled the first employer sanctions case filed in the Southwestern United States under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (“IRCA”), and was co-counsel in one of the largest civil/criminal settlements in worksite compliance history. His practice includes immigration related audits of businesses and training of personnel.  He has worked on many complex cases involving company transfers of executives and self petitioning experts in the top 10% of their field of endeavor. Clients in need of both temporary E-2 and permanent EB-5 investor visas have been a mainstay since 1973, and include investors in EB-5 Regional Centers and targeted employment areas.  Very active in Dallas community affairs, Mr. Gump has served as President of the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities, the Downtown YMCA, and the Dallas Texas Exes. He was a recipient of the 2005 Dallas Texas Exes Outstanding Alumnus Award and the 2009 Dallas YMCA Theodore P. Beasley Distinguished Leadership Award. Walk in guests will be accommodated on a space-available basis.
