Register now to hear the key health care compliance insights to Shelley C. Koltnow, Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer Via Christi Health on “Close Encounters of the Real Kind with the ZPIC, OIG, RAC, EMTALA and OCR: What’s an Organization to do?”  Ms. Koltnow will share selected experiences, responsive and proactive strategies Via Christi Health has developed in light of a recent on-site audit by the OIG; ZPIC audits and impact of pre-payment review plans the RACs and an increase in EMTALA and HIPAA complaints.

Also Note The New Monthly Meeting Date.  NTHCPA is moving the monthly meeting date in response to member requests that the date be moved to resolve schedule conflicts with various other conflicting internal and external meetings. Beginning with the meeting on April 17, 2012 meeting, the new monthly meeting date will be the Third Tuesday of the month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Dallas Ft Worth Hospital Council Offices.


About Speaker Shelly C. Koltnow, VP & Chief Compliance Officer Via Christi Health

Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer of Via Christi Health, Shelly C. Koltnow is an experienced health care leader.  In her 16-year health care career, Shelley Koltnow has served as the vice president of compliance/privacy, internal audit, legal services, and/or risk management in several large health systems in Ohio, Indiana and Kansas. She currently serves as the VP of Corporate Responsibility and Chief Compliance/Privacy Officer for Via Christi Health in Wichita, KS. She received her JD from the University of Akron (OH) in 1989 and her MBA in 2005 from the University of Phoenix.  In addition to her extensive health care compliance experience, Ms. Koltnow also is a popular speaker on health care compliance and risk management topics for the HCCA, Gulf States TEGE Council and various other seminar and other program faculties.   She is a member of American Health Lawyers, the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Healthcare Compliance Association and the Gulf States Area TEGE Council.
